THE FOOT SPOT FIT SYSTEM
We have engineered our fit system to make it easy to get the right fit the first time. Here's what you will need:
- Two pieces of paper bigger than your largest foot
- A pen or pencil
- A ruler that reads to the 1/16th inch
- Tape
- Someone to help you trace your foot (optional)
Step 1: Tracing your foot
- Tape one piece of paper to a hard floor.
- Wearing the socks you are planning on wearing with the shoes you are buying, stand with one foot on the piece of paper.
- With the pen straight up and down, trace around your foot. Do not hold the pen at an angle.
Step 2: Mark the length and width
- On the outline of your foot, mark with a straight line the outermost areas of your foot:
- top (toes)
- bottom (heel)
- outside
- inside
Step 3: Measure the length of your foot
- Use the ruler to measure from the bottom line to the top line. Be sure to keep the ruler straight.
- Find the closest 1/16th inch mark. If you are in between two marks, use the larger measurement.
- Write that number down
Step 4: Measure the width of your foot
- Measure from the inside line to the outside line keeping the ruler straight.
- Find the closest 1/16th inch mark. If you are in between two marks, use the larger measurement.
- Write that number down
Step 5: Finding your correct shoe size and width
- Repeat steps 1-4 for your other foot.
- Use the longer and wider measurement.
- These larger numbers are the final measurements to choose your shoe size.
- Using our size charts, you can convert these numbers to your actual shoe size and width.
- If you are in between sizes, choose the larger size.
